The moment we met these leaders last summer, it was immediately clear that they have been extraordinarily thoughtful about the team they’ve built, the clients with whom they’ve partnered, and the projects they’ve tackled. Through our interactions, we have honed Godfrey Dadich’s practice areas and bolstered the impact of The New Editorial by telling the true stories of how and why the world is changing-including, in many ways, for the better. Since joining the kyu collective, we’ve found kinship, community, and understanding. These foundational principles compelled us to reimagine what a creative studio could do-and to pioneer what we call “ The New Editorial.” And they needed to supply increasingly distracted audiences with stories that were relevant and trustworthy. They needed to distinguish themselves by making every interaction a meaningful experience. Despite this profound change, much remained the same: Organizations needed to know who they were, what they stood for, and what they were here to do. We did so in response to a media and communications industry mired in a sustained, structural decline, brought on by Big Tech aggregators diverting the advertising dollars that once were their lifeblood. Through all the challenges and triumphs that come with growing an agency from the ground up, the thing we’ve appreciated most has been the opportunity to do it independently.
